Stick it on a guitar or bass case, a mirror, keyboard, bike, helmet, back window of a truck or the bumper of a sedan - not gonna stick too well on a battle vest though (patches soon, hopefully, and pins available very soon!) Metal and hardcore are brothers, the amount of crossover between the two scenes is something that seems to be overlooked by both parties and get bent out of shape over the fact that Bolt Thrower and Merauder are more or less the same band with a few tweaks. Slayer's Jeff Hanneman was a big fan of punk and hardcore and it showed in his songwriting. Cro-Mags toured with Motorhead, Strife are buddies with Sepultura. All of the black metal guys? Especially Darkthrone? Mayhem? Punk dudes who liked to party in graveyards and follow a different aesthetic (somebody's going to get heated over that minimization) Grindcore? Death metal derivative but have little issue being on the same bill as powerviolence bands who appear more punk derivative. Industrial is metal's goth cousin with a keyboard. Crust punk and D Beat? Always seen hanging around death metal crowds too when they're not hopping trains. Motorhead, Slayer, Pantera, Biohazard and Hatebreed bridging the gap and being diplomats between scenes in varying capacities.
